You can help protect Palau’s environment by supporting the Palau Conservation Society. Our success relies directly on the financial and technical support of its sponsors, funders, and partners. Every cent counts!

How to help:

You may choose to donate to PCS’s operational fund, our Capitol Campaign, or directly to a specific program. You may also work directly with our Development Officer to sponsor a specific product or educational material. PCS is a registered nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductable.

PCS’s members are an integral factor in guiding the Society. Palauan members directly influence PCS stategies and programming by electing representatives to the Board of Directors. Even off-island members have the benefit of knowing that they are part of a group of over 200 members who are dedicated to working towards the preservation of Palau’s environment. Membership fees are not tax deductable.

Membership has these benefits:

• Annual report
• Discounts on merchandise
• Annual General Assembly Meeting and Forum
• Quarterly field trips to visit Conservation Areas

Palau’s environment creates the foundation for many of Palau’s businesses, and many of these businesses have shown their dedication to protecting the environment by becoming a Corporate Partner to PCS. Corporate Parters are those businesses who commit to making annual donations to PCS, usually some percentage of their annual profits. Corporate Partnership allows the same benefits as membership.

A new program in Palau, the Guest Match Program allows tourists and visitors to make lasting contributions. Patrons of participating businesses may make a donation to PCS, and then the participating business will then match that donation. That’s double the bang for the buck! Businesses interested in participating in the Guest Match Program are invited to contact the PCS Development Officer.

There are many volunteer opportunities at PCS. You may participate in field work, assist with fundraising, conduct surveys, or provide technical expertise. Visitors to Palau may find that volunteering provides a fulfilling way to experience Palauan culture while having a direct beneficial impact on Palau’s environment.
